MacroCount is provided as a 100% free mobile tool intended for personal nutrition tracking and calorie counting. There are no mandatory subscriptions, hidden charges, or paywalled core tracking features.
3. Not Medical Advice Disclaimer
MacroCount is designed solely for informational and personal fitness tracking purposes.
The application, its calorie calculations, and nutritional estimations do not constitute medical, dietary, or healthcare advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should always consult a physician, registered dietitian, or qualified healthcare provider before undertaking any diet, nutrition plan, or intensive fitness regimen.
4. User Accounts & Security
To synchronize your nutritional targets and meal records across devices, MacroCount allows you to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information (such as a valid email address).
- Keep your password confidential and take responsibility for activities occurring under your account.

5. Server Storage & Acceptable Use
Account data and logged entries are stored in our server database hosted at Lysator (Academic Computer Club at Linköping University, Sweden). You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access to our servers, introduce malicious software, or disrupt service operations for other users.
6. Termination & Account Deletion
You may terminate your account at any time. To request complete deletion of your account and associated database records, contact us at [email protected]. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or compromise service security.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
MacroCount is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to ensure high availability and accurate calculations, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MacroCount and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
